Quality Hotel Luton Airport

... The main line heading to the aiport was diverted, and of course all the signs detailing how to get there were in French! So with my shaky French,and some lovely people's shaky English,a lot of pushing, shoving and general stress we got to the airport!

Which takes me to now, we got back into Luton about 10pm, and we're staying at a nearby hotel overnight. Long bath and big brekkie tomorrow, before heading back into London. We're hoping to drop ...

Friday 13th... (It lived up to its title) Went to Paris! Sounds easy enough, right? Well... I had to get up at 4.30am to walk to victoria station (because the metro doesn´t start till 5.30am) to catch the 5:50am greenline bus 575 to Luton Airport. ... She is doing much better and they think she'll be heading home tomorrow! It's exceptionally hard to handle these situations from abroad so I really appreciate my dad who is taking great care of her and keeping me updated on her progress and for taking care of Kali in Mom's absence. After brutal 9.5 hour flight with very little sleep, made it to good ol jolly England where it was cold and rainy. Had a 9 hour layover until 5:30, then off to Cairo for 4.5 hour flight. Landed in Cairo at 12:30 am on the 30th where there was no taxi for my hostel waiting for me like there was supposed to be.

Anyway, I secured my new room last Wednesday, I paid the first month's rent and deposit which broke the bank but that's okay, as I cannot wait to move away from Charlton! Of the three groups traveling together, he liked ours the best. He talked to each of us on several occasions, nut just to our group as a whole. ... I wasnt paying for that, so after looking it over again for a couple of minutes and the bar guy standing over us, i said to steve, lets go. Then as we walked out i noticed the room had got quite a few girls in it by then. No doubt we had been taken to a brothel!! Lucky we didnt get that beer!! They have 2 copies of the Magna Carta, one of them was burned to a crisp, though, but even though you can barely see a word, they still have it on display, since it's the only copy with the seal intact (also burned to a crisp, though). Out of 63 provisions, all but 3 have become obselete and been repealed, but it is still important for setting the precedent of granting rights besides what the monarch grants ...
