Quality Hotel Herning

... and afternoons, while in the evenings, there were performances and work demonstrations. During the second week, it was nothing but performances and talks, so sometimes people would watch 6 shows in a day! It was definitely an overload, but a very inspiring one, with great people and delicious food!

Stayed in Aarhus as our sleep over stop, mainly becasue Billund has no hostels! Didn't do anything on our night there, as it had taken us about 8 hours to make it there from Berlin, many change overs on trains!

Went to Legoland on the second day. It was ace! Though many children running around, & they seem to think that Criel as an amazing city in Scotland. We eventually got water rides, something whcih we have been looking for since we started!

... the front of the rollercoaster; I think they recognized that we were a little new to this process so no one became frustrated with us and instead filed in behind after we moved.

I also enjoyed all of the miniature versions of major Scandinavian locations like Nyhavn in Denmark and parts of Sweden. There was also a replica of Hollywood, California and the Statue of Liberty! I'd be interested to see the replicas in other countries' Legolands.

Silkeborg was a beautiful little city built around it's river. It had walking paths by the river, and in the summer had river cruises. Such a pretty place. One thing that caught our attention was the garages for boats, complete with roller doors and all.

... Nana passede da hun gik i gymnasiet. Onsdag skal Kirsten (en FDF leder fra Struer) besøges, og om aftenen tager vi tilbage til Herning. Torsdag skal vi slappe af, for så fredag morgen at tage tilbage til Hvidovre. Da det i dag kun er lørdag, har vi ikke billeder fra de ting vi har lavet, men de vil blive loaded op løbende. ... at finde små mangler, togkort og ditten og datten. Hver gang vælger jeg at gå, for at træne mine ben op til de lange gåture jeg kan se for mig i en nær fremtid. De sidste 2 dage har jeg forsøgt at pakke min kuffert, og nu er det da så småt ved at lykkes...?? ^^ hvad der mangler på min to-do liste er nu kun, en tur til frisøren, bagage vejning, madpakke til togturen mellem Herning/KBH, påfyldning af nyt musik på Ipod'en og vaskning af ...

... and our countries. It was a great event. Friday afternoon a group of us went into town, there we listened to a bad play and had a dance before retiring home at 5am. The life of an exchange student phhhh..... It's tough!!! ;) I have so many things coming up I will be extremely busy. Just next week I have a regional AFS winter camp. Then we have holidays, and then I have a mini exchange to southern Denmark. I have to come home a day early from this as the next day, March 3rd, I shall ...

... everything we had along. And so we started on the way of Silkeborg. It was completely dark outside already, even if we were in Denmark. At first there was a bit of conversation going on and it turned out Peder, an affable gentleman of some fifty-and-something years of age, was a collector of American cars who had two or three more somewhere in a garage. But the weariness got better of us all soon and I guess everyone except me dozed off. I ...

... the days in Bangkok shopping and shopping and shopping! Ended up having soooo many things - 36 kg... But I didnt had to pay for the extra kilos in the airport so no big deal :) Yeeeeep... and here I am... It IS a bit hard being back... But I need some money and Denmark is not that bad in the summertime... Aaaaand I just booked a flightticket to Bangkok last week... Leaving Denmark the 29. of september :) Thats less than 5 months from now and that time will ...

Hey allesammen :) Såååå begynder rejsen efterhånden at komme tæt på, og vi glææææder os som små børn :) Nu skal vi kun sove 13 nætter mere inden vi skal afsted ;) Er efterhånden ved at have styr på de fleste ting - helt utroligt at JEG kan være i god tid... meeeen som min Far sagde idag så er det sikkert bare fordi jeg mangler et eller andet ;) Tjaaaa... hvem ved... jeg når det nok... og ender sgu sikkert alligevel med at ...
