... road, 5th avenue, and all the expensive apartments and current or past (now museums) mansions, the guide said that the street cart vendors pay up to US$280,000 per year for a concession to have their cart on that street. As he said that's a lot of $4 hotdogs. With local direction we found a food hall in a shopping plaza building. It was about 11.20am. It wasn't like a NZ food hall. We won enough tickets to get a jumbo prize! I got a giant stuffed raccoon that seemed like such a great idea! Ryan asked me how I was planning to get it home and I told him that I would let future Jennifer figure that out. I took my giant raccoon and got on the subway home. We had ...

... going to a different show. I ordered Matzoh ball soup and a Pastrami on rye sandwich. Marie ordered pea soup and fish and chips with coleslaw. We both ordered Iced coffee. Before our order they bought out 2 pickles cut in half and a bowl of beets (beetroot) and commented "It's part of the experience". The Pastrami sandwich came with sauerkraut but it wasn't pickled like I'd seen in Australia. More like coleslaw with a vinegar dressing instead ...
