... hours and forty-five minutes of it, with a nap in between. As we started our descent into Geneva, I pulled open the window shade and looked out at the snow-speckled ground. It didn't look like much at first, but as we got lower and closer to the city, these mountains grew out of nowhere! Geneva is surrounded by the Alps and the Jura. ... be signing up for a temporary European cell phone. Fingers crossed that staying awake until 8pm tonight will take care of most of my jet lag...only 3 more hours until bedtime!

I'm looking forward to Thursday, and beginning the first of many long weekends, this one with my best friend. Meanwhile, I'll try to break out the black clothes and assimilate myself a little more into Swiss culture!

... link the two. Some of the bridges are pedestrian only while others make you share with the cars.........and what cars! Porsches, Ferraris, and even a gilded Lamborghini....middle eastern plates of course. Very high dollar neighborhood!!!
