We woke to a beautiful clear morning. The rain had stopped sometime in the night and now as we looked outside - the view of the Great Western Tiers was cloud free.

... now. After sampling the many honeys (including chocolate truffle honey) we made some purchases, the kids had ice cream and we were off to our next stop.

Christmas Hills Raspberry farm. When we travelled to Tasmania in 2006 this was our morning tea stop (right after breakfast at Anvers). We weren’t going to sample anything here, just buy some chocolate raspberries. The food here is wonderful if you plan on visiting.

We turned down the road to the hospital thinking that might bring us into the town centre but instead we ended up on top of a hill surrounded by big mansions. ... National Park. A couple of walks over the following days gave us breathtaking views of Wineglass Bay. The kids climbed up and down like the Leyland brothers, stopping to admire the views and commenting on the natural beauty of the place. We were just a teeny weeny bit proud of their achievement and the change in their attitude to bush walking compared to the first walk we did at the beginning of our trip!
