It was a very stiff and sore body that mounted a bike today. I knew that if I took a day off after yesterday's fall I might stiffen up and not get on a bike for the rest of the holiday! I forced myself on for what was to be a short ride to explore Tasing and Langeland Islands. the short ride grew longer as we experienced beaches, forests, fishing villages, ancient castles and spectacular views. I have very few photos because everywhere we looked was a postcard view. ...

Odense to Svenborg

New tube on the trailer and all was well (5 min stop). We found a great campsite about 8.5 km west of Faaborg on the water (next to ...

Today we visited the place Pete was born and the farm his grandparents owned. We met with a wonderful gentleman who showed us through the home of Pete's great uncle beside the farm his grandparents owned. We visited the church that Pete went to and the grave sites ...

... the average speed of cars goes up from about 110 to 130km/h, and I found myself sometimes going 150 while overtaking to spend as little time in the fast lane as possible. At one point I got up to 160 - by which stage the wind was pushing the helmet into my face so hard it started to hurt - and as you can see in the video cars still just fly past easily going over 200. I arrived in Hamberg around 5pm, and I sent a text message to a guy on Reddit who had ...
