Grabbing the initiative of free professional photography, we posed for a few ...
... a decision (bear in mind this was the Thursday morning) but if I could let him know ASAP so he could book my flights. I sat there in his office and the wonderful feeling of being able to up and move my life with no more than 2 and a half days notice suddenly crept over me and I agreed there and then. Sunday it was. Which then meant I had work all day Thursday, Friday and Saturday and had to be at the airport for 7am on Sunday with my life packed up, room rented out, friends said good bye ...
Melbourne, Victoria, Australia ciaradoonerush... to make when one has a rather oversized bag on two wheels, which tends to tip over onto the ‘wrong’ side. This wasn’t helped when one had to run for the tram and nearly fell flat on face! Anyway, we arrived safely at the hotel and had a look-see in the rather posh hotel that the parents were staying in.
Due to my previous lack of interest in the Australian Winter, it became a must that I ...

You would get a bit bored of Mt Buller after more than a weekend but there are more resorts and the slopes are good so ideal for improving technique. It has set me up quite nicely for my trip to the New Zealand mountains which I am now really looking forward to! Cant believe it is only 2 weeks away and then I will be on the move again. I have my Flights to Darwin booked and my Oz experience voucher ready....bus full of drunken teenagers here I come!!!!
... out that we'd been way higher! We then bought tickets to 'The Edge'. This is a glass cube that can hold up to eight people. They close the doors behind you and then the whole unit moves out from the building. The floor and walls then clear of a fogged window effect to reveal the view of Melbourne and the street 88 floors below. They encourage people to lie face down on the floor to get the full effect of the scary height. After that we all got photos taken of us ...

Westerners tend to do their business discreetly behind a bush, where a toilet is unavailable, but locals are more likely to go by the side of a road or in the middle of a path making one needing to take care walking around. The use of the street as a public toilet, the open sewers along with the litter makes much of Indian towns stink. Roads The greatest risk by far in India is ...
