... monument on the picture of it. From the monument we walked a short way to our hotel.

Our excursion tonight was a Swiss Dinner and folksong show. We had cheese fondue, a lovely veal scallions dish and ice cream for desert. The show was very entertaining with yodelling singing and the long alpenhorn .

We were back at our hotel at 10:00 ready for another day in Lucerne tomorrow.

Tomorrow the rain is expected to return; we have a long 100-km day ...

People aren't lying when they say that Switzerland is crazy expensive. If you think Interlaken is expensive- don't travel to Zurich. The prices are even higher! It's insane. I did splurge on some Starbucks. It had been over 4 months since I'd had Starbucks and the cold winter air was telling me it ...

It seemed like the river was the place to be, so we stopped and enjoyed it with a cold beer from a cafe, dangling our legs over the waters edge and watching daring (and super fit) guys attempt to slackline across part of the river. Motivated by a quest for Swiss chocolate, we traversed part of the old town and up to a lookout of the city. It was super nice to have a ...
