... inwards to land on my legs! #2 - Breakfast, Asian style :) With this being the first hostel not to provide meals of any sort, it was time for us to get back to basics and cook our own breakfast. No chance of cooking anything gourmet here either. Doing it asian style, Van and Carmen whipped up a huge pot of 2-minute noodles! Karen microwaved her nasi goreng rice in under 5 minutes. ... to shoot through these quite fast as I thought I was done and did not manage my time as efficiently as needed. Still thought I did get to see every piece and check it off my list.

With no time to spare I took off along the south waterfront and back to the garage where I met the family. We packed in the Benz, mapped the route and were heading east to Southern Germany for a trip back to the magical time of Bavarian kings and their castles. More of that to come ...

Today we began our expedition to climb Mt Rigi (OK I might be exaggerating a bit) by taking a paddle steam boat across lake Luzern to the foot of the mountain. ... on the door. I would love one at home when I get back. (see the pic)! It wasn't exactly a posh place but it was expensive. 25 GBP for a pizza and 1 glass of wine.... ridiculous. It was pretty tasty though but I now had the taste for the wine and fancied some more. ... nice man on the train helped us... after he realized we were saying "THE ZOO" and not "Lucerne" -the zoo was a lot of fun but we wished they had some of the awesome Zurich water fountains... it was a hot day! -after walking around Zurich, we met up with Kevin's ps for dinner at Le Tres. my pasta was awesome, Mary said that it was the best one of the four she tasted -walking off our dinner, we ran into some real Ladies of the Night in town... ...
