Finally - After a frantic train transfer and a 20 euro rip off in Milan, we are finally visiting Thomas and his family. It is so neat here. So peaceful, green, and scenic. Thomas has a lovely place with a magic view. He is busy building a new stock shed. Thomas celebrated his 30th birthday. The view up here is nothing short of amazing! The snow-capped peaks stretch out as far as you can see, from your vantage point at 10,000 feet above sea level. ... seemed to be taking us up a small snow covered mountain and I wasn't really sure whether to laugh or cry. I wasn't prepared for these sort of driving conditions and we were not even in Switzerland yet.
