... before we pulled over and they made me get into a hiding spot in the car so the Mexican Police could not find me. Once we got to the boarder, the police made the brother and sister get out of the car and pull out their belongings while their car was searched. They never found me, but they found out that the car had unpaid parking tickets. The police took the car, leaving me trapped so at night I climbed out, and headed for the bus stop.

This morning, I woke up and my grandmother was dead. l was extremely sad and felt even more lonely today. I went to the people who said that they could smuggle babies across the border and asked if they could smuggle me. I went with them in the van and almost got across the border, but the van we were in got towed with me in it. That night, I got to El Paso, but was in the van where it had been towed.
