... and seeing other homesteads, the boats, the water, horse farms, wheat fields, etc. We took a ferry and rode to Korpoo just west of here yesterday. That ferry is free for everyone but some others cost or are seasonal. We did 30 miles yesterday and about 12 today and we're beat.

The lunch buffet place in town is a godsend, with amazing food to fortify us. We're cooking all other meals, which is fun and a lot cheaper. ...

... in early. During the check-in process, we learned that she, and most of the nuns here, had relocated from India. She spoke flawless English, along with Finnish and Italian. The LP guidebook claims that this place is the cleanest hostel in Finland. This is likely to be true. Our room was spotless. As the old adage goes....cleanliness is next to godliness.
