      ... front promenade and let me tell you, it was magnificent. There was so much happening it's like a mini carnival that never leaves. I drove a car for the first time around a racing track whilst my brother drove a mini quad bike around another track!       ... We decided to drive forward and just get out of there. Then Dan responded 'umm, I think this road is a dead end' he was right.       Getting up I packed up my belongings in the hostel before heading to the local supermarket to pick up some breakfast, but as the bakery was closed I returned only with water & a packet of Spongebob biscuits - have to note their range of characters on biscuits over here is fantastic! The area around our hostel was a bit seedy so I didn't feel particularly safe walking by myself, but was so near to the hostel if there was any issues the would have heard. ...

      ... from now on in! I've started each day with my potato addiction being happily fed by a plentiful selection of sweet potato, yam and manioc (cassava).
