... to catch up with Mat and Mum and another day is done. Thanks Sharon (and Amy) for a good day out.

Thursday 23/4 - We visited Casa Loma (Spanish for Hill House) today. It's a 98 room Gothic Revival style house and gardens built on an escarpment in midtown with impressive views over Toronto CBD. It was built by a wealthy business man Sir Henry Pellatt back in 1911 - 1914. It was the largest private residence in Canada. It was very impressive ...

... very quiet so we took a leisurely stroll through the shops. After signing a declaration form, Steven tried the hottest chilli sauce in the world (supposedly) and had his photo taken which will be put on the pepper palace Niagara Falls Facebook page next Monday just to prove he did it haha. By the time we reached Johnny Rockets we had been in the centre for a while and all agreed it was a cold drink we needed as we were all boiling hot now, so ...

... to (very sadly) say goodbye, and then back to her house to pack my ever expanding shopping into my two new suitcases. I had to leave a pile of clothes etc. at Sarah's house, thus ensuring I'll be back next year.

August 20th - back to Toronto. A fantastic trip, even though I did miss Kevin very much. Next year we'll be back in England together for sure! I also should say that I ran for 11 straight days and was up to 30 minutes by the end.

... the others (Oh, I forgot to mention, Nick Hanns, Beths' boyfriend, is here too. He's over for 6 months and is renting a basement apartment nearby). We played a hilarious game called 'catch phrase', one of those talking/describing ones like Articulate (which I actually won, funnily enough!) There was a giant thunderstorm which made it unsafe for Ash to drive all the way home. She decided she'd stay the night instead.

... reserve, touring Johannesburg, and a relaxing vacation at Sun City.

It is my plan to blog throughout the trip and upload pictures as much as possible. The internet connections and electricity are apparently not that reliable so I will do my best.

We are sooo excited about this trip and sharing it with our friends and family!!!
