    ... you, wearing shorts didn’t help but Jon and I believe that this is summer, shorts must be worn. Rosemary on the other hand, being somewhat wiser, was wearing no fewer than 5 layers of clothes! Having said that, if you ignore the cold, it was gorgeous. What views. The whole horizon to the east was filled with mountains, some snow-capped and islands. The sea was a deep blue and it was lovely.

    ... surrounded by an immaculate graveyard; the well-kept stones are surrounded by bulbs and perennials. Surprising in such a harsh climate, there is not a single plastic flower. The lawn is freshly mowed between the headstones while the remainder is covered with tiny pink bells.

    Sunshine today, what a spirit lifter, everything looked different without the rain. Today saw us making our way back towards Bergen, staying overnight at Forde. If time permits we are hoping to do a little exploring around Forde before we leave.
