... It was an old house owned by Gudmund's great uncle and aunt. That old house was adjoined by a recently built house. I went into the old house. The entry ways were low to keep the cold draft down. There was a big eating and dining area. The bedroom was narrow, just enough for the bed and its walkway. Old houses were maneuvered to keep the cold away before electricity and plumbing came along.
