Tori was AMAZING as usual. Just her and her pianos. I had a really emotional moment in one of the songs, the way she performed it was just breathtaking.
That was the quick jaunt to Birmingham. Seeing as it is so close, it might be a good place to go to other concerts as well when they come up.
... screaming "MOMMY!" or cry from laughter at the guy in the cart in front of you, who thought it would be a good way to show that he is a tough guy by taking the girl he is trying to impress into the haunted house ride and ends up screaming more than she did, while he clutches onto her for dear life. This is where childhoods come to be made. Leandra and I spent ages there, slowly eating our way through the blue sugary goodness, just watching the kids run around with wide eyes ...
... but traveling at 120 kph with visibility in front and behind not much beyond the next vehicle is a tricky operation. My concentration had to be high - you could see how easily a small incident, like someone just touching their brakes could cause a major pile up. I don't know why they don't close the road? Anyway we made it safe and sound, even though the GPS often dropped out due to lack of connection to satellites - all that spray, rain and clouds I suppose.
