After checking in to the elegant Fairmont Hotel on Nob Hill we headed out to explore the town and eat dinner before the Oscars started ( 3 hours earlier than East Coast). We wandered the very vibrant Chinatown and chose a Pho joint since we'd probably eat a lot of Chinese food in HK.
