    ... you get lots of walking in when you are a boater. For the afternoon I'll hit the pool for an hour then perhaps another walk. I'm on book 2 and 1/2 way through 2 others and have a few magazines, so thankful we have good Internet here.

    ... warranty and they are not authorized here to do that. So the search is on for a dealer who has time, we are hoping for Norwalk which is close by and we are using one engine which is fine and we can do about 10knots. Bryan is such a skilled captain he docked yesterday very well with the one engine!

    The boat report... they are going to try and change the hose tomorrow and ...

    ... includes the first North American Lord and Taylor store. Our first stop was Stepping Stones Park, a private community park that they were kind enough to let us visiting South Carolinians tour. It had some nice views of Long Island Sound. We ended up the morning at Oyster Bay, where we had some delicious oysters at the Canterbury Oyster Bar and Grill. Our waiter said we needed to see Port Jefferson while we were on the north coast so we headed there ...

    ... Dottie does not even know it is there. The second big decision that we made was to cut down on the driving. So for now on, our trip will be one way. This year we are leaving Dottie in sunny San Diego and flying home. Next year, we will start our trip from San Diego and make our way east. We also have a new traveling companion.     ... traffic without incident down the I-95 to Glen Allen, VA because that's where Priceline said I could book a Best Western Plus for less than I had spent at the warped Rodeway Inn in CT.

    7 states (if you call DC a state), 11 hours...391 miles (more or less...probably a few more) And Wednesday is done. But I know I'm not in the North East anymore 'cause I got a "ya'll" and a "Lord Bless" with a smile and an accent that I can understand...
