Woke up feeling a little rough, so went for some food in the bar next door to the hostel. Ordered nachos, I had asked if they were too big for one person....I was specifically told no, they'll be fine. I nearly died when they arrived....see picture! Tonight I got tickets for Emma and me to go to The Listening Room for a night called "Song Suffragettes" it's an evening every Sunday showcasing female writers. It was really good, very interesting - all the girls were ...

Walked back to our apartment through Morgan Park which was so pretty. Squirrels were racing around everywhere. Across the lawns, up trees, we never saw so many in one spot.

There was a huge storm brewing so we decided to eat in. We ordered a local Pizza delivery and Rick supplied some white wine for USD10. It was the perfect night to stay in and enjoy our comfortable accommodation.

I went to Coyote Ugly for a while. It seems the Coyote Ugly concept has turned into a chain of theme bars ...

... Tennessee and is located on the Cumberland River. Nashville is a center for the music, healthcare, publishing, banking and transportation industries. It is also home to a large number of colleges and universities the largest of which is the Vanderbilt campus. For a paltry USD58,000 per year you can send liddle Billy-Bob or Peggy-Sue to one of the country's more prestigious educational institutions. Well rested we took the hotel shuttle downtown for our first look ...

... report back to you all! It was nice, but didn't set the world alight, maybe we have been spoilt on BBQ food now! The next day, we had a leisurely morning, before making our way down to Wendell Smith for brunch, another recommendation. This place was classic. Looked like an old style diner from the outside, and even more so from the inside! There wasn't a foreign accent in the place, and seemed very surprised to see we had stopped by. The food was pretty ...
