    ... outside Arches NP, where we have a full hook-up, including fresh line, black and grey waste and a 30 amp shore line. Totally got this lingo down.     ... and you give word to your partner that you want to come down. Using the piece of equipment called the ATC your partner slowly feeds you line and the climber slowly walks perpendicular backwards down to the ground. Once on the ground you switch with your partner and it is their turn to climb. After climbing for several hours and 6 different routes our guided trip was coming to an end, and it was time to head back into town.

    ... some people just don’t care!

    There was also an extra minute of climbing up rocks to get to a water fall that you could walk behind so we did this too and saw a little bird in the stream kind of bobbing around…not too sure why!
