... It’s a land that must be seen to be believed and, perhaps more important, must be believed in order to be seen.”

I did an amazing short hike at Canyonlands to Mesa Arch and the view was out of this world. I had fun chatting with everyone there, and I started the trend of walking on top of the arch, living life on the edge! I saw a few more of the sites and then decided to leave Canyonlands and head to Arches, which was only about 45 ...

Twenty six of us doing the jet boat ride 18 mile down the Colorado River which includes a cowboy style dinner - not near as wild as our jet boating experience in NZ. Into our lodgings at 7.45pm - another long day, but a good one.

... was breathtaking. Words can’t describe what we saw and the pictures we took won’t show the beauty of the place. We stood and watched a flock of very young ducks struggle while the current carried them over the spillway. We were rooting for them to swim away, but the current was too strong. On the other side of the spillway was white water, so we couldn’t see what happened to them. Sort of sad.
