... We took a drive out to Adel Grove - Lawn Hill one in the same place. The road out is bitumen to start with then goes to a sprayed top then gravel. The trucks are carting zinc ore from Cloncurry to century mine Lawn Hill for processing , but there is also a mine site half way out and once you turn into the mine road, the road turns to gravel. It varies a bit from bad to worse and a little ok. We would not take a van on it ...

What a great day we've all had and thanks to Cheryl, it was her idea. An all day cruise on the Swan river taking in a winery for lunch. Met Cheryl at 7.45am and her friends drove us to the station at Greenwood, where we took the train to Perth Esplanade. This train travels down the central reservation of the Freeway. What a sensible place to put a train track. The boat left Perth at 945 and travelled at a gentle and very relaxed 5 knots with a commentary ...

... us but very good. Last night we loaded the car and drove to the beach, (which is only 5 minutes away). As it was Easter Sunday and a lovely warm evening, everyone was out sitting on the grass, cooking on the communal bbq's. After eating we moved onto the beach to watch the sunset while John and Billy set up fishing rods (no fish caught). It goes dark early here as they don't have daylight saving so we stayed until 7.30 and were walking off the beach under a full ...

... too squeezy. We cruise at about 15 knots.

We have met a few of the passengers – the demographic of whom is in the more mature age
bracket. The youngest we have met so far is 51 and the oldest 85 – so we fit somewhere in the middle.

Finally, the Internet connection is somewhat spasmodic, unpredictable and unreliable so,
whilst you may receive these words, the uploading of pictures could be unsuccessful – we shall see.
