I am getting more and more excited about the trip and looking for things like gender roles while I am there, but I am also getting nervous because Thailand is one of three or four countries that imposes the death penalty for drug smuggling ...

Whilst sat on the back of the bus all hot and sweaty, i have emailed a hostel i was originally staying in Chicago to see if they could put me up earlier than planned.
