... to get rid of that I could purchase the flights in first class for more comfort. One tip for LAX is that the premium check in area for AA is in the end of terminal 4 that is farthest away from the International Terminal. The flight left LAX at 8am and arrived HNL at 11am. I have always enjoyed the flight into Honolulu. I’m not sure how many different approaches they can make depending on winds etc, but the one I’ve always done is best seen from the right ...

The Hollywood sign itself is iconic but pretty rubbish - just some white letters in the hillside, which are actually surprisingly small. ... on so I got some really awesome vegetables to cook J&S dinner. I walked along Sunset Boulevard then Hollywood Boulevard and saw the Star Walk and had a little wander into some of the shops. People seem to love my accent, it's actually really helpful when you're not entirely sure which coins are which or where the hell you are. Stupid English person is a pretty charming character by all accounts. We're all Hugh Grant after all.

... a lovely balcony view of the town right next to the Hollywood sign and the Capitol Records building. Great for seeing things and being out of downtown LA, but not so great for two girls walking back alone late evening/during the night. Its not dangerous, but it wasn't always pleasant... mainly because everyone is looking for a tourist and they're everywhere you look. Having said that, I think the tourists annoy me more than any locals could...
