On highway at 9:00 am ct We arrived at Little Ocmulgee State Park a little after 6:00pm et. The drive was ok but both of us had a couple of stresses while driving, nothing serious, just made us a bit tired. The movie was pretty good but probably not what we all expected.
Before the movie we were taking a picture of the group in front of the sign when the lady taking tickets came out of the door and said she would take it for us so we could all be in it. It was the Sweet Onion Cinema
... Friends of one of our camping buddies stopped by Saturday afternoon on their way home and joined us for dinner.
A trip out west is being planned for next April so the planners in our group have already started working out the farthest point and the route out. They just love to plan trips whether they are short or long.
Today we were joined by another friend so now we have 6 rigs here. We went to a restuarant called Benton Hill's restuarant. It is so far out in the boonies and at the dead end of a road. It is on the Altamaha River but not right on the river.

The park is gorgeous and we compare it to a Corp park because it is so well maintained. It is on the Altamaha River (not the campground though). We are 8 miles north of Hazelhurst and 20 miles south of Vidalia. We are told that we are 14 miles from a Walmart.
