... checked in, ate and Tori swam for an hour. We are still fairly disorganized about packing and unpacking so I am beginning to feel more comfortable about being seen in public in my PJ's. Tori has no problem with it. We are supposed to be having a super moon but it looks fairly normal to ...

Well, this was too much for a white girl from Ben Lomond, so we decided to have lunch at Peck's BBQ whose phone number is 886-HOGS. The third president of the United States and the primary author of the Constitution made his primary plantation here in Charlottesville. The only private home that's on the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites - making it a must see for me!!!

Nothing at Monticello is more interesting to me ...

    Day Four - Shopping Day

Today we went to Charlottesville and took our first look at the shops. This was good because they were all air conditioned which is useful being in a heat index of 104 F (40 C) which is a combination of the heat and humidity. In Culpeper there is a heat advisory today, and tomorrow there is an excessive heat warning as its getting so hot!
