Tom and I got unloaded after a long trip. It was supposed to be 4 1/2 hours according to my information when I was planning the trip. It was more like 6 1/2 hours. Long day and I am tired. I woke up last night and looked out the window to see a beautiful snow falling from the sky. I rushed to the computer to see if school was cancelled and it was! Tom's district was out, too. ... small miracle. :-) After a farewell lunch with the whole family we headed to the airport for our last night in Dallas.
Our flights on Monday are 14 hours to Dubai and then 6 more to Bangkok after a 3 hour layover. We should arrive at 1:00am on the 31st. Just in time for some sleep and to get ready for the New Year celebration.
We are about to test my tolerance for new cultures and cuisines. Wish us luck!!

Our family took us to the Sherman Museum. The place told us a lot about the history of Sherman and the Red River Area. Formerly known as the Red River Historical Museum, it had many cultural, historical, and educational exhibits to view.
