... and not just on Mardi Gras. No surprise there. There is a walkway that connects old town to new town and New Town is a bit more modern. It has a lot of outdoor shopping centers. We didn't always feel safe once we left the shopping centers. It was a bit dodgy. The capital of California is Sacramento, so they have a mini white house looking building here and a park surrounding it.
