... stock up on groceries, since I've rented a cabin here in Baileys Harbor, and experienced my second beer room. Yes...beer room (or cave, as the Pic 'n Save called it). The first was yesterday, when I stopped at the gas station to pick up some beer. The cooler was small and didn't have much selection, and then I noticed the double doors leading to the Beer Room. Yes, an entire walk-in cooler devoted to beer. I think I will like it here.

The next day we started by taking a 4 mile hike along Lake Michigan. We rewarded ourselves after exercising with miniature golf (which we tied in), cheese and wining tasting, and some afternoon beers at some of the local bars in Fish Creek. Our time in Door County concluded with yet another sunset and drinks and food around our campfire.
Door County sits in the center of the upper Midwest's "inland seas." The county offers 300 miles of shoreline. It’s the Cape Cod of Massachusetts, although on a Lake not an ocean.
