I also got some photos of the beautiful white cranes I’d been admiring from the car and unable to take photos of since I was driving. They paint the numbers on the lanes and a good thing because my head was on a swivel all afternoon. The truckers didn't slow down for a second. If this was a race, then I was 14 the from the bottom, because that's all I passed and not until the end. The other 10000 cars and trucks passed my by and left me in the dust. ...

We rode on I-10 East for most of the trip today. Highway 46 through the town of Boerne (pronounced Bernie) was scenic and beautiful. It was over 100 degrees going through Houston with lots of fast moving traffic.

I separated from the group in Houston as I find I get anxious now in the heavy traffic. ...
