Good news. We did wake up and weren't violated by the redneck Bud screamed at last night. The morning was humid, foggy, and overcast. We took scenic route 50 through the beautiful Tennessee countryside to Lynchburg, home of the Jack Daniels Distillery. We started at the Iron Kettle with a breakfast of southern sausage gravy over buttermilk biscuits and home fries swimming ...

Since it was probably my last time to be there I did the very touristy thing and had my picture taken ...

Well it's the first day being temporarily unemployed. Feels weird knowing I won't be going back to the hospital to work. Got a lot accomplished. My passport arrived finally. We got the hitch installed and the trailer reserved. We got to spend the morning with sweet friends and their 12 horses and numerous cats. Had a blast feeding carrots and apples to the horses. I'm sure going to miss these wonderful ...

... s roost. A tiny establishment with an Elvis shrine and terrifying eyes of locals glaring at 2 strangers in kilts. Needless to say that was a one drink stop off before retreating to our room for the American voice and an early night.
          Yesterday was Knoxville, huge ...
