... what happened as most of us but the story about the bad weather is believable to me. When we flew to Jakarta from Manado on December 27th, the weather was bad in Jakarta area. It was cloudy and raining heavily. There was so much turbulence that while the plane was descending, it had a sudden drop. After 27 hours of traveling, 18 hours flying on 3 different flights, sleeping on the floor at LAX airport for 4 hours, and several unhealthy meals later we're finally here! Receiving a free lift (soon to be repaid with a tip) from our AirBnB host from the airport was a pleasant surprise which distracted us from the icy weather.
