... along to millennium park where they are having the taste of Chicago festival which was brilliant. You bought coupons for the stalls, and then you could use them to buy either taster portions from the stalls or full meals, so as a result I tried some pulled pork, jerk chicken, chicken satay, breaded catfish, cheese cake, and funnel cake. The food was amazing, and here was live music and a brilliant atmosphere, the views over the skyline of Chicago as the sun set ...

We ended up going to Weber Grill. It was good, but expensive. After dinner, we headed back to the hotel and I went to bed.

A bit of a marathon journey, but finally picked one up about 10 and headed north to Milwaukee for the day, arriving just after 12:00. What a quiet city Milwaukee was. A little on the industrial side, and not many people around at all. Found the "Fonz" on the river ...

... in, because that company is making a packet!

After that lovely insight to the American toy industry, we headed back to the hotel and chilled in the lobby until 4pm when we could check back in. We were down-graded to a standard twin room (so no desk, chair, microwave or fridge, but still two double beds), however we were upgraded to the 12th floor (meaning the sirens from the Fire and Rescue vehicles were ever so slightly smaller in ...
