... the food, the drink, and again the people. My first impression after crossing from Mexicali, MX into Calexico, USA was I just went from technicolor to black and white. The impression continued after my first two days in the States. Yes it's much cleaner, more organized, the streets have shoulders and no potholes. We stopped for dinner in Coronado Bay, at a local mexican restaurant to celebrate Klay's birthday. The food and beer were pretty good!
We had a late evening treat and headed into the Boutique Candy Store in the main street of Coronado Bay before heading back to the hotel for Birthday Cake and bed!
All in all, it was a fantastic day all round!!!
Now off to bed to revitalise for our jam packed day at Legoland tomorrow!!!!
