    ... I was a kid. I don't particularly remember, but my brother says we did. I know we used to go to the Connecticut Trolley Museum. Now here's an OLD MEMORY - the wallpaper in my room when I was little had TRAINS on it. I'm sure of that!!

    ... many with elaborate platforms on top so nothing will be missed. Let's not forget to mention the tailgating - these fans are serious about their racing! It seems we've been here a lot longer than a month and can't believe that its time to journey on from this mountain town with all the junctions. We've made a lot of friends who have helped us feel welcome. It makes it hard to leave. I feel like it's the end of summer camp and time to go home :( Stay tuned for more ...

    ... veterinarian works out of his home, with no computer in sight and old school file cabinets. It's where people still write checks at the grocery store and say hello even though they don't know who the you are :) We're both road weary and right now are planning to base here for a few months. I'm enjoying the peacefulness of the woods, trying to sneak up on chipmunks and even the freaking bird that sounds like a dying pac man arcade game. Hope all is well with everyone. Bye for now ...

    ... highways traveling south that we took from Burlington took us through the farmland of Vermont. Green pastures with newly plowed black soil contrasted against the spring green colors of a never ending forest. Picture opportunities were everywhere but we knew we had to push on since this would be our longest driving day of our trip.
