The pace was set and we were in dead last with about 85 runners ahead of us. Slowly, one by one, we merged to the right and passed one then passed another. Our pace was slow, but consistent. 3/4 of a mile into the race a few folks started to slow and walk. Then a few more once ...

Nick Chubb, Georgia's standout freshman tailback carried the load and put up record numbers. He ran for about 260 yards and scored 2 times. Also, went to a burger place, Burger Boss. They are NOT the boss of burgers. They butchered my name, and their burgers look (and taste) like McDonalds burgers. The crinkle fries are the only saving grace. The end. More work this week!

First impression of Seattle? Rainy. Any surprises there? Nope.

After coming to grips with the fact that it never stops raining in the PNW I had a chance to marvel at the fact that Seattle buses have exclusive access to a tunnel so they can avoid downtown traffic. I don't care how they do it but every major city should find a way to prioritize bus traffic, but enough politics...
