The dinner venue was the Juke Joint which serves southern food combined with live jazz and soul music. The service was very poor and slow however the food was good, music great and the people really very friendly. We had multiple people say hello to us, welcome us to Atlanta and wish us well on our travels. We met, who we would later learn, was the owner who took a shine to the girls and even shouted ...

I really feel that I need some time to explore the world for myself and find a sense of normalcy in people leading lives completely different from my own. But more ...

    ... night in London.

Thursday 10/11 our flight home to Atlanta was mostly uneventful. When we taxied to the new Maynard Jackson International terminal, we were told we could use our phones. I was so happy that I finally had service again. I had not had service for a fortnight (two weeks)! I called my husband to let him know we landed and come pick us up. He called me back to let me know he was outside of baggage ...
