... charming American from Cleveland who was also on 'vacation' as they like to call it. We ended up walking round the railroad museum together, and found the 'Pony Express' statue, which was how mail used to be delivered back in the day. On entering the museum we had a cute tour by a man named Al who must have been nearly 90. I wouldn't have been surprised if he'd built half the trains in that museum! What a hero.
The Davis Famer's Market is a fixture in Davis, taking place downtown on Saturday morning and Wednesday evenings the latter over the summer.
