Woke to another lovely sunny day, 28deg c before breakfast! Breakfast wasn't much to shout about, coffee, bagels, muffins that was about it. Loaded the car and headed on our way, back to LA to catch our flight.

The drive was fairly straightforward, used the car pool lane to speed past some of the traffic in the other five lanes. As we speed along, Fanny suddenly decides to tell us we need to take the next exit in less than a mile! Cue ...

Got to Universal Studios just after opening at 9am.

Did the studio tour around the backlots.

    This included Wisteria Lane &

    Norman Bates Motel.

The studios even had a garage full of "movie cars". After the tour I decided to take off my princess tiara and jumped on a few rides. Went into the Shrek ...

... she got home it was clear that Ava was not going to forgive Jen for sending her off to stay with someone else. It was very funny to watch her moping around, ignoring all our attempts to win her over. Occasionally she would forget herself and come for a sniff of an arm pit or someone's ****** ( that's Ava not Jen) but then slope off again. I think she will be back to her normal self when I have taken her for a good long walk in the ...
