Stopping for lunch at a rest stop we see a motor home we have been with since Cheyenne, WY. That couple is returned home to New Jersey. The have a 2011 34 foot Monaco Monarch, a sister coach to ours.
Just East of Davenport, IA we cross the Mississippi for the second time. Finally we are in Ilinois and make our last KOA stop in LaSalle/Peru, IL.

Originally, I planned on riding 40 something miles. When I reached the halfway, I looked at my camping possibilities. There wasn't anything free for 80 miles, but I was feeling pretty good. I called the Henry police and asked them if I could camp in the park. The officer seemed really confused by this, like he'd never received a call from a cyclist before.
