    Not much to write about today as this was definitely a driving day. We travel 462 miles to Illinois through some of our country's most valuable farm land. For miles and miles there was nothing but corn with a few soybeans thrown in.

    Rend Lake State Park in Southern Illinois is a beautiful park. We camped with for two nights with a view of the lake out our back window. We had hoped to enjoy the biking trails, however the weather did not cooperate and it rained most of our visit. Thus, Elena had some quality time to work on her quilt.
