    Meanwhile, I leave you with this cute photo I took the other day at the Tampa Lowry Park Zoo of Zsa-Zsa (mom) and Zuri (7-month old calf).

    ... sigh. Finally headed in the right direction we drove through a series of heavy thunderstorms (see photo). The best part was during each deluge - Philip kept saying "this should be the last of the rain". Um. Not! Mike exhausted from teaching napped. Are you sensing a pattern? So it was a long day but we finally made it to the scrub jay spot. Our day-3 special guests were already waiting for us. Day 3 Guests: Ashleigh and Mike. Good people! ...

    ... s name is Peggye Edwards, I phoned her at about 8am Thursday and she got really excited. "I was just wondering when you would call!" she said. "I'm going to call one of the brothers to come on over here to meet you, what time will you be here?"

    ... you do.  And now, 500 years later, Jacksonville is apparently the largest city in the Americas with its municipality stretching a whopping 842 square miles and playing host to three US Nabal bases, with the Navy proving the largest employer in the region. It's a somehat unbelievable fact as the downtown area we're staying in appears pretty small, and deathly dull, with not a sailor in sight. Just a bunch of fellow joggers pounding up and down the couple of miles ...
