    Such a loooong day - on the Tarmac at midday & they had to return everyone as there was a computer glitch! We sat at LAX until 6.30pm when we boarded. The good news was that the plane was only half full and they gave us FREE drinks. By the time we got to Salt Lake City it was 10pm local time (less than 2 hrs flying) and our car was there to drive us 20 mins to our lodge which is fabulous.     ... pier goes out a long way and there are old fashioned carnival rides at the end. We are so glad we didn't miss it. We got back very late as again we got caught in LA traffic and a forty minute trip took over two hours. Dinner was at the "Nickel Diner" - recommended by a work colleague and it was a fun step back into the fifties/sixties with great food and service. Off to bed at midnight again.
