They are checking that you have the required documentation - tourist permit and temporary car importation papers and Mexican car insurance....It is quick and easy - no lineup - a formality as long as you do have the proper documentation..

I find it funny how my family in mexico is so rich that one of my aunts have a mansion, but in America we are not so rich. Monterrey used to be so beautiful, until Las Zetas, a gang, destroyed it.
