After getting up at 6:30, Greg made waffles for us. They were delicious! We started driving again at 9, stopping at Walmart to find charging cords to replace the ones we left at home. At around 5, we arrived at St. Louis, MO and the Gateway Arch. It was quite the adventure to find parking for a 35' truck and trailer! ... had a woman meeting up with us at 8am and she arrived a few minutes early. I talked with her as John finished getting ready. Terri was really excited about the day and had a full schedule for us (including a 2 hour lunch break – heaven!!).

John ended up doing performances in seven different locations, plus the Frisch's we ate at and a McDonald’s we just happened to stop by. He was on fire…he won over a few uncertain kids ...

... a popular place. Fondi was still on the possible list it felt like a place you could call home. The distance from the sea made the real estate prices more reasonable as well. the next day we traveled to Sperlonga and Terracina. Sperlonga is a beautiful seaside resort town but with no train service and resort prices it was quickly eliminated. Terracina is an ancient and scenic town. ... after staying in cities! We took a 4 mile hike through the woods in the state park encountered yet another white tailed deer and lots of birds. Dinner was an amazing blackened catfish with potatoes, onions and grilled portabello mushrooms.
