... in the water: A sunny, cloud-free sky and a high near 90 degrees. Problem is there were a lot of other people with the same brilliant idea to avoid the rainy day yesterday and go today as well. The place was filled. And this was "America's Largest Waterpark", so of course it was meant to hold a lot of visitors.

I planned to get a private cabana in the water park but when we arrived at 1pm they ...

... Dells with its row of tourist-minded stores such as candy stores, popcorn shops, arcades, suvenior shops and of course cheese stores.

Yes, we spent plenty of money but it was all good fun. Aria's thrill was playing 3-D Golf on a two-story indoor minigolf arcade. We ended up on the second floor outside next to a large King Kong display over the entrance to the arcade - so Aria pretended to by captured in the grasps of Kong.

From here we headed out in hopes of finding a trail where we could hike to the gorge and view the canyon before the thunderstorms let loose. Unfortunately, we were not able to beat the storms so we returned to the hotel.

We didn't put many miles on today but we definitely fed the fun meter for this ...

... some interesting shops and Sarah saw an ice cream store. Guess which store was the first stop? ... the Ice Cream store of course. First we sampled some fudge then Dad, Sarah and Paul got ice cream cones. While they enjoyed them, Mom headed down the street and ended up in a little yarn shop. The greeters in this yarn shop were very large, very furry and they drooled a bit. Mom didn't ask what breed they were but on a google search she decided ...

need to get that looked at in case there's a leak.

We drove from the campground and saw an
Outlet Mall so thought we'd stop for an hour since it was almost
lunchtime. Four hours later we surfaced. Time seemed to be on a
different dimension or at least it sucked a few hours that we didn't
          realise. But there ...
