The people here spend the day dressed, and doing activities that they would have back then, cooking and keeping fire, and giving demonstrations on how they make their manshoons or boats. We sat down at a restaurant called Dick's and the waiter came up slammed the silverware on the table and said we have a reputation here of being dick's. Claire said she could handle it since she is English, but he continued on. I asked him if I could have a steak and he said no, then I ...

With a very long drive back to Boston we decided to stay not far from Lexington & Conway. Lucky for us we were in the right place at the right time the date being the 19th April, which is Patriots Day! The Battle of Lexington is commemorated and a moving tribute is paid to those patriots who first fell on Lexington Green on the morning of April 19, 1775. We really wanted to see the historical reenactments and parades that they have here every year. It was very strange for ...
