... up big time and the organisers had laid lots of wood shavings down in an effort to dry it up! It hadn't worked though because the Dodge slipped and skidded about, but we got into line and headed for the entry! Once inside we saw a huge set up with over 500 vintage and steam tractors and a massive flea market where folk were selling bits and pieces, however the rain and the large crowd had churned the place into a quagmire and very soon our shoes were covered ...

... wild rice. The trout was very good with lemon, although I didn't like the capers.

We plan on having another campfire tonight to use up the rest of our firewood. We'll have s'mores and enjoy our last evening in Two Rivers.

Grandpa made our reservations for camp sites on the way back this morning. We are stopping at Hickory Hollow campground in LaSalle, IL. It's not the same one because ...

... to the beach. We visited city beach or "Neshota Shore." It was about noon by the time we left for the beach. We stopped at the grocery store because we forgot sunscreen and aloe and both me and grandpa are pink. We met Kaye, Jerry, and Patty at the beach and all just sat there just enjoying the weather. Jesse and his wife, Kristie, stopped by for a couple of minutes. I got in the lake. My ...

We found out that one of grandma's previously unknown cousin, Leonard, has actually been parked next to us in the campground the whole time! :P
We also had a campfire, marshmallows, and s'mores. Gimme s'more s'mores!

We've been having fun though. Covered in mosquito bites, but still a good time. Can't take any pictures with my camera because it's full and I don't have the cord!!!! >:[

... is much nicer this year. No dead fish and it's not pea soup! Today was very chilly not getting any hotter than 70 F probably. I don't know if we'll be able to get in the water.

Tomorrow we have the family reunion at the city "beach house" which isn't really a house. It's just a changing area and restroom with a big pavilion. There's supposed to be 75 people there! :P

Oh and sorry about the delay of blogging. I've been busy.
