We were now so close to our weekend destination that we decided to stay two nights and have a day off visiting the many sights that Owensboro has to offer. Mostly a travel day today ending in Owensboro, KY Lots of time in the car but with good company.... And an onboard DVD player the drive was a pleasant one. Tomorrow we get deeper into the South and our days get busier for awhile. Drove 320 miles from Columbia, MO to Santa Claus, Indiana. As we were driving through St. Louis, we stopped at the Arch, which was right near the St. Louis Cardinals baseball stadium.
