This is a historic site. There was a Revolutionary War battle fought here and also a Civil War battle fought here. This plantation house was used in the movie "The Patriots" with Mel Gibson. ... with a host family and I will be able to take marine science courses while I am away as well as a cuisine class. I never knew how much planning it would take to prepare to live in another country for half a year and I have yet to pack my suitcase (which I am not sure how I will be able to fit everything I need into a suitcase for 5 months). Now I am being hit with the excitement and the fact that this is actually happening. Costa Rica here I come!

... we took to was the high wires and zip lining. We went through the classic safety talk, I guess so that we couldn't sue them if we fell, and then put on all our equipment for the harnesses.
