We took to the calm water first, for our first experience of paddle boarding, which is basically standing on a surf board, and paddling to move. ... gardens. After that we headed back to CT and P's daughter R's place for a quick rest before heading out to watch their son A play soccer. It was a pretty fun game to watch, but unfortunately A's team lost.

After the game we headed back to Waxhaw, it was quite late by this time, but we were getting peckish, so we stopped off the interstate and got some Bojangles biscuits for dinner on the way.
