... an English pub. It even had an English telephone box outside. Larry had a NoDa (North Davidson, a Charlotte neighborhood.) Woody & Wilcox IPA. I had a Strongbow Hard Cider. This is a historic site. There was a Revolutionary War battle fought here and also a Civil War battle fought here. This plantation house was used in the movie "The Patriots" with Mel Gibson. ... with a host family and I will be able to take marine science courses while I am away as well as a cuisine class. I never knew how much planning it would take to prepare to live in another country for half a year and I have yet to pack my suitcase (which I am not sure how I will be able to fit everything I need into a suitcase for 5 months).
