... with a host family and I will be able to take marine science courses while I am away as well as a cuisine class. I never knew how much planning it would take to prepare to live in another country for half a year and I have yet to pack my suitcase (which I am not sure how I will be able to fit everything I need into a suitcase for 5 months). Now I am being hit with the excitement and the fact that this is actually happening. Costa Rica here I come!

The rest of the morning seemed to pass really quickly, we were soon on the road to get some NC BBQ at Rock House BBQ. OMG so good. We each had a bit of pork, chicken and beef BBQ with sides. So much yumminess. Right next door is a fruit and veg stall, it had the freshest looking stuff. We got some avocadoes and minneolas (tangelos).

... friends, a car and a 5x8 covered trailer along with whatever meager belongings would fit into them. It was a very strange feeling - like cutting loose from a tether or anchor. But, it was reassuring that we had tethering “stations” ahead: in Kentucky and North Carolina.

On Sunday we met up with Dave & Nikki Bremner who stay in Fort Baxter (about 30 miles from where we were). We joined them at the local YMCA for the Eternity Church service. The church is 5 years old and meets in the Y each week. Dave, summed up the worship quite succinctly when said the band/worship team sings well and loudly, and everyone else mimes along...
