This night I slept well. I guess I'd made up for my late nights the previous nights and didn't get moving until after midday. Well, that's not exactly true. I had been awoken by some early morning messaging. Early morning here was late night back at home, so I took the disturbance as a chance to get up and eat some free breakfast. I was pretty sure I dragged my eyelids all the way to the breakfast place next to the reception area. So I was adamant I was ...

The views were spectacular with scores of deserted islands in the greenest sea on either side of us. The drive was quite slow with ...

... the most unusual souvenir without anyone one saying ‘where did you get that from?’ has to be the Italian vehicle license plate. There is a photo of me early on holding my souvenir in our stateroom. If you want to know where it came from, it fell off the back of a lorry….literally!!!

…but the final words have to go to the reason why we took this trip; the inaugural crossing of the Atlantic by the Royal Princess. The ship is beautiful in design ...

... alcohol in the states!) to stock up on beers for the day! On the way back we stopped by the car rental office and booked our car for the trip up to Orlando on the 6th, and bought my fifth pair of sunglasses, let's see how long these ones will last. The rest of the afternoon we spent on the beach, me reading in the sun, Snellers in the sea obviously. It was really really hot, but there was an occasional breeze and later in the day cloud started to come in which we were grateful ...
