    ... road was blocked, we joined the queue behind the cavalcade of police cars. They got waved through, but the park ranger told us that today the President of the United States was visiting the park. We could go on in, but much of the park would be closed for security reasons, and that if we didn't get out of the park by 2pm, then we wouldn't be allowed out until gone 6pm. We decided to go in anyway.

    Of course the best bits of the park were closed ...

    ... we finally had had enough and luckily there was a metromover stop just around the corner so homeward bound we go. As we reached our stop the heavens opened and the rain came down but one of the friendly bus tour guys had given us emergency ponchos when he was telling us it would be 15 mins so they kept us somewhat dry as we sprinted down the block to the supermarket on the way home....
