The day started slow. I didn't get moving until around checkout. My first point of call was to go to a grocery store and get my regular list of groceries for my day on the road. The road stretches across huge expanses of water (the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other) and some of the bridges are 7 miles long! Next was Joan from Wisconsin and her brother Chuck where we canoed Nine Mile Pond – the large Crocodile is still an amazing sight. We also had a great seafood dinner at Captain's Restaurant (Cindy and I returned for an encore meal on Groundhog day).
