... stop was in Milwaukee. At some point, we crossed the Mississippi River, but I was not sure just when that happened. I thought the sign said the Minnesota River, and my research on this is not clear. In any event, we ended up on the other side and at the infamous Mall of America. I could not pass through without experiencing this place. And it is truly amazing. There is even an amusement park inside and I watched some of the rides, which were huge.
... just off Rt. 94. There were no staff here when we arrived around 6 PM but they left us some info at the office. We had a devil of a time finding our campsite then couldn't fit into it once we did because (of all things) a huge gimp sign located on the site. This entry is only to keep my map current. We came across the eastern part of North Dakota, past Fargo and into Minnesota where we stayed at a great city park for the night. All grass and, with ************e there, peaceful.
I went for a run in the morning and then we headed across Minnesota towards Duluth...past ALL those lakes in Minnesota! So many of them.
