    ... being back home. We visited one restaurant in Florence, Mama Gina's, three times on this trip and about 5 times on previous trips. The waiters never seem to turn over and by now they have gotten to know us a little and one in particular got to know us well enough to joke with us and even open up a little.     ... br> The next day (Thursday, January 8th) we were off on our next adventure by 11 AM to the Low Key Hideaway in Cedar Key. Cedar Key is 118 miles north along the Gulf of Mexico and a place we visited and loved three years ago. It is said that this little town is like Key West used to be 20-30 years ago.     ... flowers in the park this morning. And, much to my surprise there are Camellias in bloom. I did not have a camera with me today or I would have taken a shot to prove my observation. We will be here to celebrate Arbor Day, the third Friday in January! Apparently Florida celebrates two Arbor Days - the next one being in April. This is according to a neat book I picked up at the library, "Month by Month Gardening - Florida", by Tom MacCubin.

    The final on line preparation was to set up reservations at the two specialty restaurants. We are early birds and it looks like we won't be alone - there was a very limited number of early seating times available. We are looking forward to the luxury of eating first class everyday.
