    ... blue meth really exists… as candy! Yes a local sweets shop, the Candy Lady, actually made all of the blue meth that is seen in the show. We had a little "deal" go down at the store if you know what I mean.

    ... We got some gas at the circle K gas station, after pressing every button the pump had to offer, and headed to the post office via Mon's.

    High on my bucket was (and I say was) Taos. Poor Tom drove about nine hours, some of them in a raging rain storm. Taos was a bust. We immediately headed for Santa Fe.
    The ride, however to Taos was nothing short of spectacular. The landscapes were like paintings. We traveled through sage brush fields and majestic mountains. We miss so much of this beautiful country when we travel by plane.

Was told that this a is a good viewing area during spring & fall migration. - Short hiking trail in the sand dumes. - Last 10 years, or so, a large number of dairy farms/feed lots moved to the area.
