    Turns out we didn't have a leaking tire, we had a leaking wheel - a crack in the metal hub. It seems that the after-market wheel that came on the truck when we bought it couldn't handle the weight. So after defensively buying four new tires, we found out we actually need two new wheels (only the rears have the over-weight issue).

    From Buffalo, we headed out to find the site of the "Fetterman Massacre". If you aren't a fan of the wild west and the plains indian wars, you will probably never heard of the Fetterman massacre. It wasn't the army's finest moment, and was a dress rehearsal for the battle of the little bighorn nearly ten years later, just down the road a bit, incidently.

    ... test of backing into our site, (they are all back ins here).

    So, tomorrow we explore a bit more of Yellowstone. Plan to go to the Upper and Lower Yellowstone Falls and whatever else sounds like fun.

    Finally some wildlife: Deer along the highway out of Buffalo, some playful Marmots at Powder River Pass summit, (9666 Ft), and 3 Buffalo (all single sightings).

    ... and Deputy Branch were in the rotation and acquitted themselves very well. I managed to get all my targets, including the Queen of Diamonds, save one. The spirit was high and everyone had a good time. There were quite a few spectators and the actors were again surrounded and signed autographs.
